End-of-Life (EOL) Sophos SG Firewall on June 30, 2026

We would like to inform you that the Sophos SG Firewall, which is still in use in some environments, will reach its official end-of-life (EOL) status on June 30, 2026.

Customers who continue to use the Sophos UTM (SG) after the EOL date will experience a reduction in functionality over time, particularly with regard to security.

This means:

– No further security updates or patches will be provided

– Updated threat signatures will no longer be available

– Technical support will no longer be offered

– Compatibility with evolving network standards and protocols cannot be guaranteed

– VPN access will not be possible

– IPsec stations will not be able to establish a tunnel

To continue ensuring the security and stability of your network environment, we recommend migrating to the Sophos XGS series.
